Teasers that earn the next post

A teaser has one job: make someone want the next post. Three of our own teasers show three ways of doing it, with one idea each and nothing to read.

NEC 2026 poster, “Quit the rat race”

What a teaser is for

A teaser is not an announcement. It does not carry the dates, the prices or the details. It carries one picture and one line, and it leaves something open. These are craft notes from three teasers on our own case pages, not measured results.

A chess piece for NEC 2026

For the National Entrepreneurship Conclave 2026 at LEAD College, the teaser read "Quit the Rat Race! NEC is Coming". One blue chess piece steps out of a row of silver ones. The conclave's message sits in a single picture: step out of the row. The posts that followed, the launch poster, speaker and guest posts, repeated the dates, the prize pool and how to register.

An old television for Kerala Startup Carnival

For Kerala Startup Carnival 2026, an old television switches channel to the carnival, with one line: "The Signal has Changed!" and "Coming soon". The idea is simple on purpose: one picture and one line that can be read at a glance. The speaker line-up and session posters followed, on one violet and one layout.

A notice on a post for Happioca

For the Happioca café's hiring campaign, the teaser looked like a notice pinned to a post on the street: "WANTED. The hunt is on. We're cooking up a team that doesn't make sense, until it does." Then came the reveal: "We are hiring. Join our team of happiness", for cooks and tea masters. The teaser borrowed a familiar object, so the picture does part of the explaining.

What the three share

Each teaser uses one object, one line and no detail. Each is followed by a post that answers the question it raised. And each keeps the same look from teaser to follow-up, so the run reads as one story. We make no claim here about how any of them performed; this is about how they are built.
